Q. I let my EMT license expire. What do I have to do to get it back? (10/3)
A. If it has been less than 60 days past the expiration date, you are still in the grace period. Immediatly contact your EMS system office. If you complete your relicensure requirements and pay a $50.00 late fee to IDPH your license will be reinstated. If it has been more than 60 days you are required to retake the appropriate EMT class and pass the state exam before a new license will be issued.
